Scott Tallon Walker were retained to re-design a 10,000m2 Nanotechnology research Institute, known as the King Abdullah Institute for Nano-technology (KAIN) at the Riyadh Techno-Valley (RTV), which is part of King Saud University in Saudi-Arabia.

The concept design had been completed locally and construction commenced on site when it was realised that the design had not taken on board the specialised nature of Nano-tech research.
Scott Tallon Walker re-designed the facility, separating out vibration and EMF generating services into an ancillary building and creating a fully rethought science based design.
